MY APPROACH
INTEGRATIVE AND AFFIRMATIVE
THERAPY AND COACHING
An integrative approach means that while I use different practices and methods, I do not separate them into boxes; instead, I blend them coherently according to the needs of each client.
An affirmative approach means that I am committed to supporting, validating, and empowering my clients in all of their experiences and identities. I reject pathologizing and deficit-based models that aim to "normalize" a person’s way of being. I actively challenge my internalized and systemic oppression, and I firmly believe that diversity is natural—and that every person is the expert of their own body, knowledge, and lived experience.

I am committed to continuous learning in order to provide services that ethically embrace diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging for BIPOC, immigrants, mature-age persons, people with visible and non-visible disabilities, queer communities, and people from all walks of life.
I believe that diversity is a gift to our communities.
